Identifying Appropriate Therapeutic Methods in Covid-19 Originated from Persian Medicine: A Review Article

Objectives: COVID-19, a novel Coronavirus from same family as SARS-CoV-2 is highly contagiousvirus. It transmitted mainly upper respiratory system and affects important organs, like heartand lungs. The aim of this study identifying appropriate therapeutic methods originated persianmedicine. Materials Methods: This has been designed the viewpoints traditional andmodern medicine. Considering modern medicine, we searched valid database by searching key words“SARS-Cov-2” “COVID-19”. For reliable medicine likethe “Canon Medicine” “Avicenna”, Exir-e Aazam Zakhira-I Kharazm Shahi. Patients wereevaluated according to their symptoms categorized based on Physiopathologyand management disease, including prevention treatment were studied. Results: principleunderlying mechanism seems be warm dry dystemperament that different organs causesvarious adverse effects which are higher than dystemperament, but less presence ofvirus. Our Iranian findings validated Conclusion: Basedon symptoms, equivalent disease was examined viewpoint medicine.Then, physiopathology presented in five levels, one stageof four stages treatment, finally, recommendations traditionalmedicine approved with new research results.
